How do I get help with street addresses?

The Fairbanks North Star Borough, through FNSB Code Title 21, is the official regulatory authority on street addresses for the entire Borough outside of the limits of Fort Wainwright and Eielson Air Force Base.

How do I get information about utility services in Fairbanks?

The City of Fairbanks owns and maintains the street light circuit, storm drain system, and signage. 

Please note the City no longer owns and operates the water and sewer utilities.  See below for information on utility services.

Who maintains alleys?

Alleys within City limits are not regularly maintained but the City is responsible for managing City right-of-way (ROW).  In the event of a hazard or contamination in a City alley please contact the City Engineer.

Who should I contact about an hazardous material spill inside Fairbanks city limits?
