When to call 911

  • Do you think you could be having a medical emergency? 
  • Do you see smoke/a fire? 
  • Do you think you smell smoke or fumes in your home? 
  • All dispatches must go through 911. We are not permitted to send an apparatus out without it going through dispatch

When to call the non-emergent dispatch line

  • If you are planning on burning anything (bonfire, brush, etc) you must get a burn permit through the department of natural resources and call dispatch to let them know you are burning
  • If you are a business, and dispatch monitors your fire alarms, you must go through them for any issues
  • General questions about dispatch
